Interdisciplinary
Community of Practice

Welcome to OCAMPR’s Interdisciplinary Community of Practice!

Our Community of Practice gatherings grew out of members’ requests for regular connection and collaboration throughout the year. And what is a “Community of Practice?”

A Community of Practice is an organized group of people who have a common professional interest and who come together regularly to learn from each other, improve or gain new skills and experience professional growth through collaboration with others.
We thought the term “Community of Practice” describes our events well with the unique commonality of us being Orthodox Christian professionals and being able to share the beauty and depth that our faith lends to our work.

Each Community of Practice event includes:

  • A 10-15 minute presentation by an OCAMPR professional on a topic that is relevant to professionals in medicine, psychology and religion
  • Time for connection and conversation about the presentation in small groups
  • Large group final wrap-up

Events are one hour and begin and end promptly, so as to respect busy schedules.

✏️ CoP presentations are recorded, but not the small group discussions. Recordings are accessible afterwards in the Membership Portal only.
✏️ Not sure what is the EDT – TIME ZONE? Here is the link to an EASY TIME converter website to check your corresponding time zone for the meeting.

Your presence and work in the world is invaluable. OCAMPR is dedicated to supporting you to continue doing Christ’s work in the world!

We look forward to seeing you at a Community of Practice event soon.
